FRBCA Youth is a student/young adult ministry of the First Romanian Baptist Church of Atlanta. We exist to provide a place for students and young adults to connect with God, with other young people, and with older leaders that are dedicated to helping them grow spiritually. We want to engage and reach our young culture no matter their background (Romanian or American), FRBCA has an environment for students/young adults to meet Christ and grow closer to HIM.
Even though we are a Romanian Church most of the studies are in English. We gather at 6pm on Saturday nights in the main Sanctuary for youth choir practice and thought-provoking Bible study. On Sunday mornings at 10:00 am we get together for Sunday School in the upstairs Youth Room.
Youth events include biblical study, meaningful service, social connections, and having fun. There are also special events throughout the year which include controversial discussions like “Discernment Saturdays”, or a more intimate gathering in small groups (“Community Groups”), fellowship at someone’s house or simply playing a game of volleyball in the church gym. Throughout the month there are scheduled soccer, basketball, and volleyball in the full court gym.
We encourage young people to come and meet friends, make new friends who are in the same stage of life and who love the Lord.
