Sebastian Paul Adrian Ille
November 19, 1995 – December 5, 2024
Sebastian Paul Adrian Ille passed away on December 5, 2024, at the age of 29. Paul was known for his charisma, talent, and bold spirit, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he met.
Paul was born on November 19, 1995, to George and Mihaela Ille in London, England. He moved with his family to Georgia, US, where he attended Collins Hill High School and became a standout soccer player for the Boys Varsity Team. After high school, Paul pursued his education at Ivy Tech Community College in Indiana, studying Humanities.
As many of his journal entries over the years attest, Paul was deeply interested in life’s ultimate questions and he had a persistent desire to understand God and His ways in the world. He was also very passionate about helping others, often going out of his way to assist both friends and strangers, embodying kindness and selflessness. His vibrant personality was unmatched – funny, outgoing, and extroverted, with a heart full of love and compassion. This adventurous spirit was a hallmark of his life, from his fearless decision to get baptized on the spot, sensing God’s call to salvation and forgiveness, to stopping in the middle of an intersection to help a stranger in need. Paul confessed Jesus as his Lord and Savior and always tried to live his life guided by this faith. But he also battled addiction, which ultimately took his life. In spite of his struggles, Paul’s life was a reflection of boldness, generosity, and unwavering belief in God’s sovereignty, goodness and grace.
He was a beloved son, brother, and friend who touched countless lives with his generous spirit. Paul is survived by his parents, George and Mihaela Ille, his sister Dory, and his brother Michael.
Paul’s legacy of kindness, faith, and love will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
