Because the Lord admonishes us in Deuteronomy 6:7 to “impress” His commands on our children, the FRBCA children’s ministry exists so that faith can be passed onto the next generation. The greatest commandment found in Matthew 22:37 teaches, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.” By knowing about the Lord’s amazing attributes, children can get to the point of loving Him. In Sunday School the children learn that God shows His love for us as indicated in I John 4:14, “The Father has sent His Son to be the Savior of the world.”
The prayer of the Sunday School teachers in the children’s ministry is that each child will come to one day receive Jesus as Lord and Savior and proclaim His faithful love to others. The FRBCA children’s Sunday school ministry includes 4 classes. The preschool class is led by Dorina Neiconi and Laura Toderut, the kindergarten through second grade class is led by Carmen Velicaru and Mihaela Sturza, the third grade through fifth grade class is led by Alina Sirb, and the middle school class is led by Corneliu and Madalina Niculas as well as Ani Faur.
