VALERIA (Valerie) OLIVIA TICA age 56, was born on August 02, 1966, and passed to glory on September 28, 2022, after a long battle with breast cancer.
Valerie was a free spirit, a kind and sweet lady who loved life to its fullest and she will be greatly missed by all who met her. She is survived by her husband Cornelius Tica, by her son Noel Tica and his wife Jimin and son, Eliel; and by her son Philip Tica and his wife Rebecca and daughter, Dorothy.
She was a loving, devoted, dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved her children and adored her grandchildren; she could not wait to see them being born earlier this year. Her family meant everything to her. She loved and protected her family with a passion.
Valerie was born in Romania, where she met her husband while they were in college. Valerie and her husband emigrated to USA and became US naturalized citizens.
Her husband, loved, adored, and respected Valerie and they been married almost 35 years. Together they taught their sons compassion, respect, kindness, love toward fellow men and foremost how to love and follow God. They provided their children with the means and confidence to pursue their dreams and passions so they can provide for their own families.
Valerie loved being involved in church; especially singing in chamber choir as well as helping and serving people from the community. She was a real-estate agent and always went out of her way to help her clients. She was a lover of animals, especially her mini schnauzers. She loved shopping, traveling, and making new friends.
She was a woman of God who surrounded all those around her with immeasurable joy, kindness, and generosity. Her passing to glory leaves an immense void in the lives of her family; however, her godly legacy will live forever through her children and grandchildren.
A Celebration of Her Life will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at 12 noon at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Internment will follow at Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 7, 2022, between 6-8 pm prior to the funeral service on Saturday, Oct 8, 2022.
