Adrian Calmi, known as Adi, was born in Decembrie 16, 1957 in Oradea, Romania to parents Maria si Alexandru. He was the forth of seven siblings, four boys, Emil, I’osef, Yoel, Itzhak, and two girls Diana and Vered. Came to America in the year 1984, and in 1989 got married with Camelia Jar.
In 2015, Adi o had a cardiac arest and after that his health deteriorated until October 25 when his lungs and heart gave up. Left behind was his wife Camelia Calmi, two sisters and four brothers.
Adi believed in God and was baptized in 1988 at First Romanian Baptist Church of Atlanta.
