Brother Ioan Faur was born on July 20th 1926 in the village of Capruta, Birzava, Arad county, in the family of Ioan and Iosana Faur.
He got married to Fibia Deac from Bata in 1951, and they resided in Bata, Arad county, Hunedoara, then moved to Arad, Romania.
They had two children, Tatiana Dulceany and Ioan Faur, and these had kids of their own, David Dulceany, residing in North Carolina, and Roger Faur, who lives in Arad.
The Faur family emigrated to United States in 1989, a couple of months before the Romanian revolution, and lived in Chicago for a while, then moved to Georgia in 2006.
Ioan Faur’s wife, Fibia, went to be with the Lord in 2012, and his only daughter, Tatiana, also died last year, in 2018.
Our brother Faur loved the Lord Jesus and the church. He would fiind great joy in recording the church services and was happy to freely offer a DVD to those who had participated in the program.
Besides his hobby to film and take pictures, he enjoyed fishing, reading, and playing the harmonica. He was a member of the military band during his service in the army.
He is survived by his two grandchildren and his son-in-law, Romeo Dulceany.
Everybody loved brother Faur and we strongly hope to meet him again in heaven.
