Today, May 30th 2019, our beloved brother in Christ, Ioan Faur, finished his suffering on earth and went to be with the Lord. He enjoyed a long life of almost 93 years, thus being among the strongest and long-lived ones. He was an active member of our church until a couple of months ago when a stroke caused him to be bed-ridden. We will remember him as the most dedicated video amateur, because he never missed a church program and he would always record the services in order to give the recordings away to those who couldn’t attend and benefited from watching them.
He went to be with the Lord, but also with his wife, Fibia, his companion of over 60 years, and with his daughter, Tatiana, who died prematurely.
We ask God to comfort the mourning family with the hope of meeting one another on the other shore.
The funeral services will be held on June 8th 2019 at 12 pm ET, at Flanigan Funeral Home in Buford.
